FAQs

We don't provide alcohol, as Canadian liquor laws don't allow mobile units to sell it. However, we’ve got everything else covered so you can enjoy an unforgettable event! One great thing about supplying your own alcohol is that you can avoid the venue’s markup and buy directly from the same suppliers they use. Plus, you can tailor your bar experience with our customizable packages.
Once we finalize your bar menu, we’ll create a shopping list for you. We’ll source everything at LCBO prices and deliver it to your event using our delivery permit. After the event, we’ll tally up the opened bottles and send you a final bill. Any unopened bottles can be returned. (Just so you know, we require a prepayment based on the number of guests, but if you end up using less alcohol, we’ll refund the difference.)

We bring everything you need to make your event a hit! This includes the bar, bartender(s), alcohol, and all non-alcoholic drinks. Our service also covers a water station, disposable cups, soda, juices, specialty cocktail ingredients, a bartender toolkit, 2lb of ice per person, travel within 80km of Burlington, ON, and both bar setup and teardown. We also offer add-ons, and additional travel.

We’ve got all aspects of The Bar Cart Co. covered with insurance. We hold both General Liability and Liquor Liability insurance, and all of our bartenders are Smart Serve certified. The only thing you might need to arrange is a Special Occasion Permit (SOP) if your event is on public property. We can assist with this!

You’ll need a Special Occasion Permit (SOP) only if your event is on public property (like a town hall, church, or event venue). If your event is on private property (such as a backyard, cabin, or farm), you don’t need one. You can apply online for an SOP here. We’re happy to help you with the application if needed!

To get started, we’ll send you a questionnaire to customize your bar menu based on your preferences.
If you’ve selected signature cocktails, you will have the option to do a tasting session so you can pick your favorite drinks. Then, all you have to do is relax and look forward to an amazing bar experience!
